League Expansion

the McMurray Gentlemen's Hockey League is proud to announce the expansion of 3 new teams for our 2024-25 winter season. Each team submitted their requests prior to the completion of the 2023-24 season which enabled the executive group to review ice allocation for the upcoming season. the teams are as follows. 

Summit Geo Otters, This team was entered by a former Pylons player BJ Fitzpatrick and will be beginning their history in the MGHLs C Division. 

Ref Riders, a second team submitted by a former player Nolan Kearney who played for the Storm. The Ref Riders will begin their history in the MGHL's C Division as well.

Kraken Beers, our third entry and hopefully one to add some excitement to this season as it was submitted by Shawn Weber who previously played for the Fur Traders. The Kraken Beers will begin their history in the MGHL's B Division. 

The league looks forward to welcoming these teams and growing as a larger community going forward.
