MGHL Crowns Champions Across All Divisions Following Playoff Finals

The Fort McMurray Gentlemen’s Hockey League (MGHL) has officially wrapped up another exciting playoff season, with champions crowned across all four divisions. Each series showcased a high level of competition, with teams battling through hard-fought matchups to earn their place at the top.

In Division 1, the Kraken Beers captured the championship in dominant fashion, defeating the Royals in a decisive 3–0 series sweep. Strong performances at both ends of the ice defined the series, with goaltender Jeremy Reid earning Playoff MVP honors for his outstanding play between the pipes.

Division 2 saw the Fur Traders claim their title after defeating the Gabagoons 3–1 in the series. The matchup featured competitive, physical hockey throughout, with Ethan Paulin-Hatch playing a key role in the victory and being named Playoff MVP for his performance in goal.

In Division 3, the Hounds secured a convincing 3–0 series sweep over the Fort Chipewyan Prairie Wolves. The Hounds’ consistent play and offensive execution proved difficult to contain, with Eric Singer recognized as Playoff MVP for his contributions throughout the series.

Division 4 wrapped up with the Killa Bees earning a 3–0 series win over the Summit Geo Otters. The team’s strong defensive play and consistency throughout the series were key factors in their championship run, with goaltender Kaylen Sacrey named Playoff MVP for an outstanding performance in net.
